Lost and Found

FOUND
Recently a coat was found laying inside the cemetery that was new and had a recording device inside of it. If you are the owner of this coat please respond with the type of coat it is, its color as well as the brand name of the recorder found inside of it. We can arrange to bring it to you upon a visit to the cemetery.

LOST
Back in 1996 a small metal plate was found next to the cemetery that had a date of 1887 imprinted on it. A $50 reward will be given to the individual that can recover it. For a photograph of this metal plate visit the post in the Gallery.

Forest Preserve District to Acquire Cemetery

It has come to our attention that the Forest Preserve District will be taking over complete ownership and responsibility of the cemetery at some point this year. What this will mean for the true care and maintenance of the cemetery remains to be seen.
