The Gapers Block video links... what do you think?

First off, thank you, tyoung, for the link to the Gapers Block mention.  There were some links to youtube videos on there that I found interesting.  I found the "Madonna of the Grove" video shot by Jason Sullivan of Midwest Haunts to be particularly interesing.  I am still not sure what to make of it -- is it just the whitish bark of a tree or really the Madonna?  What do you all think?  I am not sure if this has been discussed before as the video was dated 2004, but I would be interested to know your opinions or links to past opinions....

I am at work so I cannot get on youtube to get the link, but if there is demand, I will post the link once I am at home...

As I am going through the forum and reading some of the old posts I figured I would post an update to this one.

The Utube video for the Midwest Haunts episode is short. If you want to watch a longer version of the video it has been archived for a while over at bachelorsgrove.com. Actually, it was Midwest Haunts that sent me a copy of it in the mail for posting to the archives.

Please keep in mind that the video is 147 meg and can take a long time to load. I would recommend that you "download" it to your hard drive and not try "streaming" it. After it's on your hard drive then play it. There will be a "part 2" of the video when I get around to it. The video was sort of long and would have created quite a large file.

Well.... the scariest part of the video was the part where the fat guy threatened to beat people up!  Why is it that the camera man can't getup to verify the drop in temperature but conveniently sidles up to the main guy "10 seconds after" the temperature returns to normal?  Jeezzz...  

In any case, I would like to hear your opinion , Pete.  Are these Midwest Haunts guy legit?  What do you make of the footage?  And is there some rule that states that any media pertaining to ghosts have to contain stupid "spooky music"?

I can understand your questions. Since I really don't have any direct knowledge about the group I wouldn't be able to make any comments. It does, however, look as if I may be meeting up with them some time soon. If I feel there is any real concern(s) I will at least let you know by Private Message since you asked.

I wish to avoid any possible fights on the forum so I hope you understand the reasoning for any possible Private Messages in the future....
