Dead Dog
« on: October 16, 2010, 06:57:13 AM »
This was in the early 70's. My brother, a friend Gayle and I went to the cemetary one afternoon and had my Dad's car. We arrived there around 2:00pm and got out exploring the area. We went to jump across the shallow creek and there we seen a black and brown doberman dog lying there with a large brick in the side of the dogs head. Blood was oozing out like it had just happened. We all looked at each other scared to death and about that time we heard a horn honking. We had locked my Dad's car up but we were running as fast as we could to see who was honking the horn and what car... When we got back to the car, the drivers' side was open and no one in sight. We all three jumped into the car and floored the gas pedal and could hardly talk. This was just one of several times we had been out there and weird unbelievable things occurred. The police caught us later in the 70's and we had 3 car loads of friends with us and the police told us that we should never go there again at night because they couldn't be responsible for us. None of us have been back since. We all have seen the old lady and always went back to see her again and again. We were very crazy back in the day and now I think...Wholly crap!

That is some creepy stuff. Even though it's sad to hear about what happened to the dog I love hearing about these sorts of stories from the 60s and 70s. Thanks for sharing!!!

Your story sounds similar to the story about a deer that was killed one day. Just as I got to the cemetery gates there was a deer lying there with a hole in its chest and the jaw was busted open.

The story goes... I arrived at Rubio Woods and there was a police car parked outside of the roped off entrance to the path leading to the cemetery. As I was about to walk across the street I asked a group of people what was going on. They stated that there was a deer walking around with a serious injury on its chest. What had happened before I pulled up was that some people told the police about the injured deer and afterwords the officer told everyone to leave the cemetery. When the officer returned to his car that is when I happened to be passing by. As I got to the cemetery gates that's when I saw the deer laying on the ground with the hole in the chest and the jaw was busted open by some sort of object. After some investigating it turned out that the deer fell on a metal post sticking out of the ground at the entrance to the cemetery by the pond (the metal post had blood everywhere on it). Moments later the same people I spoke to decided to come back and they were upset. They said that the deer did not have anything wrong with its jaw. In the end it appears that the officer was trying to do the humane thing by putting the deer out of its misery without firing his weapon but he didn't want anyone around to see him do it. There is a little bit more to the story but that pretty much sums it up. I also have photos but I'm not sure if everyone really wants to see them. If you do just ask and I'll dig one up.

HOLY CRAP..me and two of my friend went here last night and caught an evp of an older woman saying 'thaank you' twice and wen we were leaving we heard a dog barking and kept barking. It freaked us out soo bad. I thought the dog sounded like it was in trouble and hurt. I believe we encountered this dog geting beat to death with the brick! Maybe it was barking for us to not leave. Iam so freaked now lol.

You can try saving it to a memory card if your phone supports it. Then you could use that memory card to transfer it to a computer. From there you could always email to me if you need help converting it to MP3 or some other easy-to-use audio format.
