one site leads to another...
« on: October 02, 2009, 05:56:48 AM »
Stumbled across a site..... http://bachelorsgrovecemetery.blogspot.com/
Has some nice pics and all.... what was kind of interesting was that it directs one to another site....
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BachelorsGrove/messages/4

Now what I found interesting is that the Sinthyia who appears to pretty much be the arthur of the first site posted a response on the second site "Last I heard Crook county was selling permits to people for the privilage of cleaning it on a Sunday and only between certain hours." I was like, WTF? Pete, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that we got to go out there and clean for free?

cheers

I responded to that post today and I have to wait for it to be approved. I have been a member of that forum since it was created but I guess I still have to wait...

There has never been a single time that the Forest Preserve District, nor the Real Estate Management Office, has charged money for permits for clean-ups or restoration work.

I sure would hope not Pete! It just doesnot make sense that they would charge for a cleanup.

On that note... I'm now taking bids for you all to come clean my house and mow my lawn. Lets start the bidding at a ten spot. Sound good? ;)
