I would really love to hear stories of the old settlement when the cemetery was brand new.
Considering the age of the area I don't think we'll find many people still alive that will be able to speak about the area when it was "new"

The best we have is the old newspaper articles and family members building their family trees.
But we still have a chance at hearing about things from the 1960s. By now those visitors would be about 60 to 70 years old. Considering the age bracket, we just have to hope that they are interested enough to use computers and find their way to the forum. Visiting the cemetery, however, gives us a much better chance at speaking with the new "old timers" and I always have a blast when I run into them! Very fun indeed! They really help validate some of the information that I come across later on paper or using arial photography too.
